James Silvani has spent the last 30 years in the comics industry. He’s best known as the artist for Disney’s Darkwing Duck comics from BOOM! Studios and later Joe Books. His portfolio of work also includes covers and interiors for DuckTales, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Rescue Rangers, The Muppets, Animaniacs and TMNT. James’ first non-fiction book was Draw-A-Saurus: Everything you need to know to draw your favorite dinosaurs (Random House). His latest work was funded on Kickstarter in less than a day. Pirates: A Graphic History (But Not THAT Kind of Graphic) was researched, written and drawn by Silvani and is available from him now! His life revolves around lunch.
